Sharlene Kosto was born in Miami, Florida and serves as the managing partner for the firm. Sharlene graduated law school from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad School of Law where she received her JD in 1983, as well as graduating in 1980 the University of Florida receiving her BA degree. After graduating law school, Sharlene began working for insurance defense law firms specializing in personal injury and worker’s compensation law, including working for one of the largest defense firms in Broward County.

It was there where Sharlene honed her trial skills as well as her leadership skills, training young, aspiring attorneys in the field of worker’s compensation law. During that period of time, Sharlene was also Board Certified in Workers Compensation Law.

Sharlene then decided to change careers and become a stay at home mom. After her three sons were independent and didn’t need mom at home, Sharlene became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator. Eventually Sharlene decided it was her passion to represent injured people and returned to private practice, this time using her skills and knowledge to work for people injured because of other’s negligence. As Managing Partner, Sharlene is in charge of The Injury Law Firm of South Florida, utilizing all of her skills learned as an attorney and as a mother. Sharlene has handled and supervised thousands of files throughout the years and has helped countless people in the time of need. Sharlene Kosto has been married for almost 30 years and has three grown sons, with the youngest following in his mother’s footsteps recently graduating from University of Miami Law and actively practicing law.
